32nd NBPA Paintout Results - Hudeman Slough, Sonoma CA

The day started with showers during the first 2 hours but we set up underneath an abandoned structure.

32nd NBPA Paintout: Hudeman Slough

25500 Ramal Road, Sonoma, CA

Map: 


This area has great views of the wetlands, Mt. Tam, and the surrounding hills. It's primarily a walking trail but there are plenty of areas along Ramal Road to set up and paint. There are vineyards to the opposite, and an interesting little pond as you drive down the road to Hudeman Slough.

You can see to the right that there is a small lot to park. This will be our meet-up point.

11:00pm - 11:30am - We'll meet briefly at entrance to trail or feel free to start painting! Feel free to drive off and paint as well. Lot's of areas to explore!!!
11:30am - 2:30pm - Let's Paint! 2:30 - 3:00pm - Meet back at the picnic table. We will share our findings, techniques or just to chat (not a critique).

Golden Frame Contest - Ends Dec. 30th

The contest starts Nov. 1st and runs through Dec. 30th on CAPAP website. All members (who live within the continental United States, sorry Alaska and Hawaii), are eligible to apply. The winner will be announced Jan. 10th, 2012 and will receive a prize the beautiful Payne 12x16 frame. Second and third place winners will be featured on CAPAP website for one month.
