California Art Club: San Francisco Bay Area Chapter Quarterly Paint-Out!

Hey everyone,

Gerald and I are both busy this Sunday, and the last Sunday of the month is Easter, so we decided to postpone it(unless someone wants to step up and organize their own Meetup?). In the meantime, this Saturday is the California Art Club paint-out. All are invited! You don't need to be a member to show up. Old Lakeville Road was a popular place when we organized our own meet-up here, so this should be a fun get-together.

Saturday, March 23, 2013  9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  Highway 37, Sonoma County Featuring Signature Artist Member Douglas Morgan       EVENT         Quarterly Chapter Paint-Out WHEN         Saturday, March 23, 9 a.m. - 4:30                      WHERE         Old Lakeville Highway #3, Sonoma County                          [map] DIRECTIONS  Take all roads that lead to Hwy.37 in Sonoma. Turn north on                        Lakeville Highway toward Petaluma. Lakeville Hwy is between                       Sears Point Raceway and Black Point. Make right in about 2 ¼                       miles on Old Lakeville Rd.#3. Proceed until you see eucalyptus                       grove on left at the top of the first hill. AUDIENCE    All CAC members and friends CONTACT      Chapter member Karen Leoni, email karleoni@yahoo.com                       or cell phone 650.302.2534 (for day-of use only, please!)              DETAIL         Meet up under the grove of eucalyptus trees, on the left side                      of the road as you climb up the first hill heading north.  The road                      is about a mile long -- it's a public road with large shoulders and                      no traffic, and there is plenty of parking along the length of the                       road. Meet back at the eucalyptus grove at 1 p.m. for friendly                      tailgating - bring your own lunch. You may stay to paint more after lunch.
